Pacific Analog
A new chapter between past and future.
Pacific Analog marks a meaningful evolution for a client deeply rooted in mid-century modern living. After years in a classic mid-century residence, the move into a Bauhaus-inspired home signaled more than a change in architecture—it reflected a broader personal transition and a desire for a space that felt both forward-looking and emotionally grounded.
The design response balances industrial clarity, expressive edge, and mid-century warmth, allowing the new environment to honor the client’s history while embracing what comes next. Exposed concrete floors and stainless-steel cable stair details establish a crisp, architectural framework, while layered textures, vintage influences, and collected objects introduce familiarity, memory, and human warmth.
A curated display of the client’s vintage belly board collection floats along the walls like sculptural artifacts—part gallery, part surf culture archive—bridging Bauhaus restraint with laid-back California identity. Throughout the home, a restrained neutral palette maintains lightness and spatial calm, while sun-faded notes of orange and turquoise introduce subtle rhythm and coastal energy.
The result is a space that feels both grounded and in motion—a refined intersection of past and future, structure and soul.
Not simply a new home, but a setting aligned with a new chapter of living.
